Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) on April 2 held a ceremony to receive the title ‘Hero of the People’s Armed Force’ and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the University.
The ceremony was attended by Politburo member; Minister of Transport and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh La Thang.
Lunar New Year is right around the corner with all the best lucks and hopes for a bright future in the incoming year. This is the time for all the students to enjoy with their family and friends. For the international students who are studying at the Vietnam Maritime University, it can be considered as a special vacation and it is also a good time to experience Vietnamese culture.

Your Executive Secretary attended the 16th Session of the Asia Pacific Heads of Maritime Safety Agencies meeting, held in Shenzhen from 21 to 23 April and delivered a presentation on the Asian Development Bank funded Fisher Report "Human Resource Development in the Maritime Sector in Asia and the Pacific. It was well received. Now we need to get a statement of support from each agency.
