Vietnam Maritime University’s organizational structure is designed to ensure effective governance, education, training, research, and international cooperation. The structure consists of 4 main sections:
- Administrative Section: Comprising 8 departments and 3 supporting units responsible for overall management and coordination, including academic affairs, international cooperation, scientific research, human resources management etc.
- Education and Training Section: Consisting of 21 units - faculties, institutes, centers, and the college - in charge of academic programs and professional development.
- Research Institutes and Centers: A network of 8 specialized institutes and centers focusing on scientific research, technology transfer, consultancy, design, and testing in key disciplines and fields.
- Subsidiaries: Including 3 companies and the Maritime Publishing House, which bridge academic expertise with industry needs, contributing to the university’s mission of fostering practical skills, enhancing employability, and supporting the sustainable development of the maritime sector.
