Vietnam Maritime University solemnly holds the Inauguration ceremony of the new academic year 2019-2020.

In the morning 18th Sep, 2019, in a jubilant atmosphere that the whole country’s 74-year commemoration of the August Revolution and 50-year implementation of the Ho Chi Minh President’s Testament, Vietnam Maritime University solemnly held the Inauguration ceremony of the new academic year 2019-2020.

AWP 2019:

The first goal of the Annual ASEAN Water Platform (AWP) is to build capacity in research into water natural resource management (WNRM) within the partner countries’ institutions, by means of gathering researchers from different backgrounds for multidisciplinary methodological approaches related to the analysis of WNRM sector.

The first 1st International Workshop under the project “Enhancing competence of Japan- Mekong Regional Logistics Training Center in Viet Nam (JMLTC)- stage 2”.

With great supports from Japanese government and concerned parties, Vietnam Maritime University had been successful implementing the 1st stage of the project on establishment of Japan – Mekong Regional logistics training center in Vietnam. Currently, the project had been started at the 2nd stage with more outdoor training facilities with regards to complete and setup a full system of logistics training center.

Vietnam Logistics Forum 2018 held in Quang Ninh

Vietnam’s logistics sector contributes only modestly to the country’s GDP, at 3-4 per cent, while logistics costs facing enterprises are quite high, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue told the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2018 (VLF) held on December 7 in Ha Long city, northern Quang Ninh province.

The VLF is annual event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the World Bank in cooperation with Vietnam Economic Times and other organizations since 2013.

Celebrating the 62nd anniversary of VMU’s establishment and announcing the decision to award the accreditation certificate of higher education quality.

At 4 pm on March 30th, Vietnam Maritime University celebrated its 62nd anniversary (April 1, 1956- April 1, 2018) and announced the decision to adward the accreditation certificate of higher education quality and also the decision to recognize the title of Associate professor for 6 cadres and lecturers.
