On January 30, 2013, Prof., Dr. Luong Cong Nho- President of VIMARU worked with Hugh Borrowman- Australian Ambassador to Vietnam. The meeting was attended by Dr. Pham Xuan Duong- Deputy Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Son- Head of International Relations, International Leadership Training Institute.
At the meeting, Mr. Hugh Borrowman appreciate the efforts and the results of cooperation between the university partners with Australia in recent years, as the program partnership with the AMC (Australian Maritime College) of the University of Tasmania ... Thereby, Mr. Hugh Borrowman encourage schools to make proposals for cooperation with partners Australia and promised to support the school in a best extent possible to further develop the relationship cooperation between the two sides.
Speaking at the meeting, Prof., Dr. Luong Cong Nho small thank the support of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam and individuals Hugh Borrowman has facilitated and promoted the relationship between the school and the Australian partner for the last time, at the same time only the Institute of International Education launched the proposed collaboration to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools, strengthen the exchange of faculty and students between the Vietnam Maritime University with the University of Australia .
