Welcoming the Delegations from Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy and FESCO Transportation Group

On April 17th, 2025, Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) hosted a working session with Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy and FESCO Transportation Group. Representing VMU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice President, along with leaders from the International Relations Department, Faculty of Navigation, and Faculty of Marine Engineering.

The overview of the meeting

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information about their institutions and explored potential areas of cooperation. FESCO presented its role as a leading logistics company in Russia, emphasizing modern training initiatives such as virtual reality and simulation systems. Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy introduced its international programs and expressed interest in long-term collaboration through joint training models and academic exchanges.

The visit marked the 145th anniversary of FESCO, the 135th anniversary of Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy, and Vietnam Maritime University’s upcoming 70th anniversary - a meaningful milestone in strengthening ties between the three Institutions.

The two sides exchanged views on the potential for collaboration in the future.

The session reaffirmed the long-standing friendship between VMU and Russian maritime institutions. Both parties hoped the visit would pave the way for practical and sustainable cooperation, particularly in developing high-quality maritime human resources./.
