On August 28, Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) welcomed the Delegation from CCTY Vietnam Company Limited and Chinese enterprises, including Great Wall Precision Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.; Zhejiang Rifa Precision Machine Tool Co., Ltd.
Overview of the working session
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Vice President of VMU, provided an overview of the University’s development, training capacity, scientific research activities, and strategic orientations for the coming period.
With a long-standing tradition of training high-quality human resources, VMU continues to expand its training programs and strengthen links between education and industry to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of both domestic and international labor markets.
The Representatives of the visiting companies expressed their sincere appreciation for VMU’s warm and thoughtful hospitality. They introduced their companies, development, strengths, and areas of expertise, while expressing strong interest in expanding cooperation with the University in the future.
Notably, senior managers of the participating companies are VMU alumni, providing a valuable connection and a favorable foundation for further connection between the businesses and the University.
The two sides also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in training, recruitment, internships, and human resource development. Such collaboration is expected to provide VMU students with greater opportunities to access new technologies, gain practical experience in production environment, and develop clearer career pahtways while studying at the University.

The meeting took place in an open, practical and constructive atmosphere, opening up promising prospects for cooperation in training, internships, recruitment, and the development of high-quality human resources, particularly in mechanical engineering, precision technology, machinery and robotics.
