Graduates

Postgraduate programs at Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) have been developed and implemented for over 30 years. VMU was the first institution in Vietnam to offer Master's degree programs in maritime sciences, marine economics, and logistics. Accordingly, tens of thousands of Master's and Doctoral graduates from VMU have become lecturers, researchers, and highly qualified technical personnel holding key positions in organizations, enterprises, and educational institutions - especially in the fields of transport and marine economics.

Currently, VMU offers admissions and training in 17 Master's programs and 8 Doctoral programs. These programs span various fields from engineering and technology to economics and management, aligning with the demand for high-quality human resources to serve the development of maritime and coastal economic sectors. The key focus areas include maritime science and law, shipbuilding and offshore engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, marine economics and logistics, and marine environment. Programs are available in both Vietnamese and English, catering to both domestic and international students. They are designed with a modern approach, outcome-based orientation, and aim to equip learners with advanced knowledge and skills to meet diverse academic and professional needs.

The postgraduate programs currently being implemented meet the requirements of quality accreditation and the ISO 21001:2019 standard. In addition, these programsare are regularly updated and adjusted in line with industry trends and the practical needs of enterprises, government agencies, and society to ensure high applicability and international integration.
