1. Overview
The doctoral program in “Machinery and Marine Equipment” (Code 9520116) aims to:
- Train a team of scientists with integrity and scientific ethics; possessing advanced expertise and the ability to apply scientific and technological advances to meet the demands of research and technological project implementation in the field of marine machinery and equipment in particular, and power mechanical engineering in general.
- Develop a team of experts capable of conducting research and leading research groups in areas related to the specialization.
2. Program Objectives
· Provide in-depth knowledge on issues related to the design, maintenance, and research of various types of marine machinery and equipment.
· Deliver advanced and updated training to empower learners to manage projects involving the design, manufacturing, operation, and maintenance of marine machinery and equipment, and to become leading experts in the field.
· Equip learners with the ability to scientifically identify and solve complex problems in the research, development, operation, and maintenance of marine machinery and equipment.
· Train learners in research methodology including problem identification, methodological development, research evaluation, and the proficient use of scientific research tools.
