1. Overview

The program aims to train managerial personnel, lecturers, public employees, and civil servants with the capacity and professional ethics to meet the requirements of work in educational institutions, state administrative agencies, economic organizations, and enterprises in Hai Phong City, neighboring provinces, and across the country. The program equips learners with research methodologies and updated modern knowledge in the field of Economic Management in both Vietnam and the world. It enhances practical capabilities in applying knowledge to solve real-world problems in management, teaching, and research, thereby contributing to the innovation and improvement of the quality of education and training, as well as the effectiveness of socio-economic management, ultimately serving the development goals of the city and the country.

2. Program Objectives

Graduates will possess a systematic, in-depth, advanced, and comprehensive understanding of the scientific field of Economic Management. They will master fundamental and core academic knowledge, theories, and principles in Economic Management; be proficient in advanced knowledge in business and management, particularly in Economic Management; and be capable of independent and creative research thinking to solve both theoretical and practical issues in the field.

They will have the skills to identify, analyze, and explain the nature of economic phenomena and the rule-based processes of economic development. They will be able to define objectives, content, methods, tools, and management measures to guide, regulate, and promote economic and business development.

They will be capable of innovatively using criteria, indicators, and measures to objectively evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of economic management and business administration across the national economy, industries, sectors, and localities. They will be able to propose creative solutions to theoretical and practical problems in Economic Management, especially policy solutions aimed at effectively utilizing resources within the national economy.

Graduates will also be equipped with the skills to exchange and debate academic issues and engage in dialogue on theoretical and practical matters within the field of Economic Management. They will be capable of building professional cooperation networks and leading intellectual collaboration to address specific theoretical and practical issues in the field at national, regional, and international levels.

They will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and at least one of the following common statistical software tools: STATA, EVIEW, or SPSS.
