The ceremony of signing cooperation agreement between the Maritime University and the Corporation of Shell Marine Products (Singapore).

January 23, 2013, the ceremony of signing cooperation agreement between Shell Marine Product's corporations (SMP) and Vietnam Maritime University (VIMARU) took place in the Council Meeting Room, Hall A1, VIMARU. 

On behalf of VIMARU, Associate Professor Luong Cong Nho, Ph.D – President of VIMARU, Pham Xuan Duong, PhD - Vice president, and leaders of the International Relations Department, Crew Training Center, Training Department, Dean of  faculties: Marine, Shipbuilding, Mechanical attended the ceremony. Representative of SMP is Mr. Colin Chua - Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific and Middle East with the corporation's leaders.

At the ceremony, Mr. Luong appreciated the efforts of both parties reach an agreement in financing lubricant for practicing ship Sao Bien of VIMARU. Mr. Luong emphasized: This is a great opportunity to open up further cooperation in the future and directed International Relations Department to be continuing contacts with SMP.
According the agreement, SMP will provide to the University Maritime Vietnam 01the lubricant analysis, 12,000 liters of oil to attend to the training program of Sao Bien. VIMARU and SMP also pledged to support and create the best conditions for each other in training and educating students and crews.
The two parties will regularly monitor and support the implementation of the contents of the agreement from the highest level of VIMARU leaders, as well as SMP to achieve maximum efficiency based on the interests of the parties. 
The two parties agreed and signed the agreement under the witness of representatives of both VIMARU and SMP.
