The 10th International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Maritime Safety and Technology (Ai-MAST 2024)

November 21st-23rd, 2024, Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) in collaboration with the International Association of e-Navigation and Ocean Economy and the Korea Port Economic Association, co-hosted the 10th International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Maritime Safety and Technology (Ai-MAST 2024). On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Duong - President of VMU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice President together with the leaders from the International Relations Department, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering warmly welcomed the Delegation.

With the theme “Sustainable Transition Towards a Greener Seaborne Shipping Industry”, the Conference gathered the participation of over 60 papers in the maritime and shipping sectors with the presentations from more than 70 scientists, experts, researchers, representatives of universities and institutes from various countries, maritime organizations worldwide such as Korea, Japan, China, Malaysia, India and other countries. Vietnam Maritime University contributed 31 papers, presentations. Especially, VMU’s lecturers and students have received 5 awards out of the total 9 awards. Recently, the University's students and lectures have actively participated in and contributed their researches to the Conference proceedings, with the lecture Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung receiving one of the Best Paper Awards and the student group from the Faculty of Economics represented by Pham Thi Tinh notably receiving one of the Best Presentation Awards.
