On the afternoon of February 14th, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice President of Vietnam Maritime University had a working session with Mr. Gwee Guo Duan - Assistant General Secretary of Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union and other representatives of maritime corporations in Singapore, together with Vietnam Maritime Workers Union (VMWU) led by Mr. Pham Van Hai - Vice President.

During the meeting, representatives of the Singapore Maritime Officers' Union expressed their sincere gratitude for the warm and professional welcome extended by Vietnam Maritime University. They highly appreciated the opportunity to exchange insights and gain a deeper understanding of the university’s maritime education and training.
The Delegation showed particular interest in VMU’s seafarer training programs, seeking detailed information on various aspects such as training duration, curriculum structure, certification processes, and the practical experience provided to students.
