On April 17th, Vietnam Maritime University led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice President participated in the APEC Transportation Working Group (TPTWG) - Maritime Expert Group Virtual Thematic Session, which was coordinately organized by the APEC Secretariat and Viet Nam Maritime and Waterway Administration representatives.

Setting the main policy theme as “A sustainable, inclusive and protected maritime workforce”, the Thematic Session attracted more than 70 representatives from over 20 APEC economies, such as: Transport Canada; Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Japan), Korea Maritime Institute... During the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice President on behalf of Vietnam Maritime University delivered a presentation on “Developing a Comprehensively Protected and Sustainable Maritime Workforce in the New Era”, which garnered positive responses and strong approvals from other delegates.
