On the afternoon of September 24th, Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) had a working session with H.E. Mr. Park Hong Ryul - the Mayor of Mokpo, Korea.
Overview of the working session
During the meeting, both sides had a detailed discussion about the results of cooperation between Korean partners and VMU, especially the scholarships to study for Master's and Doctor that Mokpo Maritime National University (MMU) offered to VMU. Based on the foundation of the long-lasting relationship between MMU and VMU, the representatives of the two sides highly expected to extend more collaborative opportunities for maritime education and training, as well as strengthen the partner connection more closely in the future.

Expressing sincere gratitude to the Mayor of Mokpo, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Duong - President of VMU presented to H.E. Mr. Park Hong Ryul the model of the training ship VMU –VIET-HAN, which was a gift that the Korean government supported for the Vietnamese side to serve as training seafarers.
After the meeting, the delegations visited the campus and facilities of VMU. Both sides had taken memorial photos in front of the main hall, concluding the successful visit to VMU of The Mayor of Mokpo./.
