 (1) Overview:

The goal of this Master’s degree program in Financial Management is to improve knowledge and practical skills of postgraduate students to become experts in the field of Financial Management. This degree also trains students to become highly qualified researchers. Students will be able to work independently and creatively, to obtain political and ethical qualities with a sense of service to other people, to meet the needs of socio-economic, scientific and technological development of the country. This degree also allows students to have deep expertise in Financial Management in a modern business setting, to be fluent in English in the field of management, have practical skills in order to organize, operate and manage economic sectors in the context of regionalization and globalization of the world economy.

(2) Program Objectives:

The application-oriented Master’s Degree Program in Financial Management program is designed to equip students with both highly academic and practical knowledge. The program approaches the trend of advanced training in finance to meet demand for high-quality human resources which are capable of working effectively in the domestic and international financial environment. Upon completion of the course, students can undertake some of these routes:

- Taking positions of financial management in state management agencies, Vietnamese enterprises and foreign enterprises operating in Vietnam and in international business environment;

- Continuing research to teach in-depth Financial Management at university level;

- Becoming PhD students in domestic and foreign institutions in Financial Management major.
