On June 20th, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Duong, President of Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) hosted a meeting to honor the University’s students who achieved outstanding results at the National Finals of the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship - Viettel 2025.
The VMU MOS team made a strong impression with an exceptional performance, winning a total of 19 prizes: 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 7 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes. Among them, the two National Champions, Nghiem Thi My Linh (KPM63DH - Excel 2019) and Vuong Thu Huong (LQC63DH - Word 2019) became MOS Ambassadors of Vietnam, earning the honor of representing Vietnam at the World Finals in Orlando, Florida, USA, from July 27th to July 30th, 2025.

President Pham Xuan Duong congratulated the team and encouraged the two National Champions to stay confident and well-prepared for the global stage. He emphasized that this was the fifth consecutive year VMU has national champions competing at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship, reflecting the university's strong focus on digital skills training and international-standard IT education.
