In the afternoon of December 4th, 2024, Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) had a working session with the Delegate of Ugandan President’s Office, Nkumba University, Busitema University and Vietnam - Africa Economic Cooperation Alliance (VAECA).

During the meeting, all parties discussed potential future cooperation, focusing on exchange programs for lecturers and students, joint scientific research, and conference organization. After the working session, Presient of Vietnam Maritime University signed a memorandum of understanding with Busitema University and Nkumba University.

The meeting was a success, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership focused on developing human resources in both Vietnam and Uganda.
